Our standard office hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Central Time). However, we have e-mail access from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. seven days a week.

We do not sell to the end user; therefore, we do not wish to have our prices viewed by the public. When you log-on to the catalog, you are assured of getting the best price, with any special pricing and promotions taken into account. This protects your margins.

You can also obtain a login on our home page and enter the requested information. You will receive your login information within 30 minutes. Please note that we only assign logins to corporate domains and never to personal e-mail accounts (i.e., AOL, Yahoo, Gmail). 

We do extend credit, based upon credit information received. Submitting a credit application is no guarantee of receiving credit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

We do accept payment in a number of foreign currencies, subject to any conversion fee. In most cases, all orders shipping outside of the United States require payment in full prior to shipment.

We accept orders in a variety of methods. You can order directly from our fully-secured On-Line Catalog, fax or email your purchase order, verbally place the order with your account team, or mail the P.O. Regardless of the method of ordering, you will receive an order confirmation immediately after receipt, along with an acknowledgment of the estimated shipping time.

Most orders received by 4pm are shipped the same day as received. In some cases, we will opt to ship the next day from a local branch (for example, an order shipping to NY will arrive faster if shipped from a NJ warehouse tomorrow, rather than a TX warehouse today). We also have the ability to ship overnight orders up until 8pm from our Memphis and California warehouses; additionally we can also arrange a local pickup from any of the locations, and same day messenger service.

Not quite everything, it just seems that way! The larger TV's, generally 42" and greater, need special handling and therefore, do not qualify. Same with some of the larger UPS units, as some weigh over 100 pounds. A general rule-of-thumb is that if it weighs 70 pounds or less, it SHOULD be free freight. It's always best to ask if you are unsure.

You won't need to track your order. We do all of that for you! Every order is tracked early the following morning and emailed to the order contact person. Overnights are always tracked first, and you should receive that information no later than 8:30 a.m. (Central Time). All tracking is sent prior to 10:30 a.m.

Orders shipping UPS Ground generally are received within 2 business days. We ship from the closest warehouse with stock to the destination address.

On any video security server solution where you send us the camera information via our web site or through a published RFQ and we miscalculate the needed storage, we will supply any shortfall storage at no additional charge to you. Please ask your BCDVideo salesperson for more information.

Upon request, we can load the master copy of your video management software for no additional charge. This software will reside on the same drive as the operating system. We always recommend a RAID 1 format for the ultimate in backup security. You still need to order any of the software licenses or packages from your regular software provider. If you want the software loaded, at the time of the server purchase, we must have the name of the software manufacturer, the specific software version, and the revision number. We will confirm receipt of this information when we acknowledge your server purchase order.

We highly recommend utilizing the three-year global on-site warranty on your server purchase, especially on the rack-mount servers. The cost is minimal (less than a dollar a day) for the Next Business Day warranty. Where applicable, we can upgrade the warranty to 24x7x4 service. All servers are built to order to your exact project specifications. General turnaround time is 7 to 10 days from receipt of your order. This lead time includes '24-hour burn-in' in an environmentally-staged room as part of the final diagnostic testing. The average time from our dock to yours is no more than three business days.

In the event that a product is unavailable to ship, you will be notified when we confirm receipt of your order and notify you of the estimated shipping dates. We do understand that you have a customer waiting on these goods and need the item quickly. We do not merely wait for items to hit our docks, rather we have a team of people expediting backordered goods and tracking inbound shipments to the warehouse in order to get these orders shipped as soon as possible.

If the order has yet to ship, it can be easily cancelled. If you need to cancel an order that has shipped, please try to refuse the shipment upon delivery. If it does land at the destination, you can request a Return Merchandise Authorization request form (see below for more information).

Every manufacturer has their own stringent return policies. Subsequently, we need to adhere to their rules of return; in most cases, it is a maximum of 30 days, in some cases, it’s only 14 days. This is always based upon factory-sealed equipment. We will advocate on your behalf to get your product returned by using any exception procedure made available. Depending on the product, some manufacturers offer advance exchange warranty, thus eliminating the need for a RMA exchange.

Having a paper trail is generally the best avenue to initiate an RMA. Fill out an RMA Request Form and input the required information. You will receive a response within an hour of your request. We are able to obtain opened-box RMA’s, however, they go to a different warehouse. Please note that factory-sealed RMA’s that arrive in any other condition cannot be accepted and shall be returned to the source.
