Professional Security: BCD in the UK – case study
Quadrant Security Group Ltd (QSG) has become the first installer in the UK to use equipment from BCDVideo, the US-based manufacturer of purpose-built Internet Protocol (IP) video recording servers.
The equipment was used for estate security as part of a larger project for an unnamed UK police force, where a resilient solution was needed which met budget constraints.
The chosen BCDVideo NVR is an open platform solution and certified for the video management system used by the force. This allowed QSG to integrate the Nova Series 1U rack-mounted NVR with 12TB storage into the existing Milestone Corporate video management software.
