Maureen Carlo will moderate a panel of Women Security Business Leaders at ISC West April 9th, 2019.

BUFFALO GROVE, ILMarch 7, 2019 – Joining a diverse group of female business professionals from across the industry, BCDVideo’s Maureen Carlo will moderate a key panel at the International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West) on April 9, 2019, designed to encourage female entrepreneurs and highlight the benefits of workforce diversity in the security industry.

The panel, titled ‘Being a Woman Owned Business Owner in the Security Industry is an Advantage, not a Disadvantage,’ brings together successful woman-owned security business owners, including a security supplier, security integrator, security recruitment firm and a government security contracting consultant. The key industry professionals will share advantages of being a female leader in the security industry, as well as insights on what led them to start their own business, and the experiences, challenges, and opportunities they have encountered along the way.

ISC West is the largest converged security trade show in the U.S., covering video surveillance, access control, biometrics, smart home, public security, drones, robotics, and more. Conference attendees showcase the newest security products and technologies, network with colleagues and security professionals, and gain valuable industry training.

Carlo will join panelists Christine Lanning, President of Integrated Security Technologies; Rebecca Bayne, President of Bayne Consulting & Search, Inc. (BCSI); Lynn De Seve, President of GSA Schedules, Inc.; and Eddie Reynolds, CEO of Iluminar, Inc.

It is an honor to join this panel of industry experts, who are blazing the trail for the next generation of female leaders and entrepreneurs in the security industry. Together, we look forward to identifying the career paths that lead to starting a successful security business and discussing why diversity in the workplace is so important.
