BCD Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Terms and Conditions

**Please note that RMA numbers are ONLY valid for 15 days within the US and 30 days for International once issued, unless otherwise specified.**

Terms and Conditions

RMA Eligibility

  • Customers must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 30 days of the original invoice date for returns seeking credit.
  • Returns requested after the expiration date may be subject to a restocking fee or deemed ineligible.

RMA Authorization Requirements

  • An RMA number must be obtained from BCD prior to returning any products or parts.
  • Products must not be returned without an authorized RMA.
  • Replacement products must not be ordered without receiving RMA authorization.
  • Approval of an advance replacement does not guarantee acceptance of the returned product.
  • If an RMA product is not returned by the expiration date, the customer is responsible for payment of the Advance Replacement invoice.

Return Conditions for Credit

All items returned for credit must:

  • Be in new condition
  • Be in the original packaging
  • Include all packing materials, manuals, and accessories

Products deemed not re-stockable will not qualify for credit. The customer must provide a shipping account number for return shipment, or the product will be discarded without credit.

Shipping Responsibilities

  • If the product was ordered in error (not due to BCD error):
    • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
    • A 20% restocking fee will apply.
    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • If the product was shipped due to BCD error:
    • BCD will cover return freight charges.
  • For products over six (6) months from the original invoice date:
    • BCD is not responsible for return shipping charges.
  • For products under six (6) months from the original invoice date:
    • A return shipping label will be provided in the replacement box.
  • Customers are responsible for any damage incurred while the product is in their possession or during return transit.

    Packaging & Documentation Requirements

    • The return packing slip must be attached to the outside of the box.
    • Do not write the RMA number directly on the shipping carton.
    • Unmarked packages or packages without a packing slip will be refused and returned to sender.
    • Customers must email the tracking number to rma@bcdvideo.com to ensure delivery monitoring.

    Inspection and Credit Processing

    • All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
    • Return eligibility and credit amount may be adjusted based on product condition.
    • Credit will be issued only after:
      • The returned product has been received and inspected, and
      • The original purchase invoice or replacement invoice has been paid in full.
    • Defective items may be repaired or exchanged at BCD’s discretion for the same or equivalent product.
    • BCD reserves the right to refuse any shipment that does not meet the agreed return conditions.
