Virtualized Infrastructure

Utilizing a virtualized infrastructure solution offers a secure and scalable option for companies that want to make the most of their system resources and increase or scale one virtual hardware system without increasing or scaling another at the same time.

Key Benefits of Virtualization

Virtualize your hardware systems to protect against data loss, keep costs downs, and ensure valuable system resources aren’t sitting idle.

Virtualizing your hardware is a valuable and powerful option for businesses looking to maximize their ROI.
  1. Lower Total Cost of Ownership
  2. Independent Scalability of Compute and Storage Nodes
  3. Fast Disaster Recovery
  4. Shared System Resources
  5. Centralized System Management
  6. Purpose-built for Safety and Security

Applications for Virtualized Infrastructure

Companies can integrate virtualized infrastructure to streamline their security systems, protecting everything from their physical buildings to the digital landscapes employees use daily. Two common ways virtualized infrastructure gets applied in everyday scenarios include:

Building Automation Systems

Many businesses that use virtualized infrastructure can maximize their hardware to make it work for their security systems. Companies can implement Internet of Things (IoT) technology to connect various devices throughout the building, putting all devices using IoT on one central system to make them easier to manage and access. Virtualized infrastructure can appear as IoT-integrated automated building systems because the devices use a main network to control diverse smart applications that may require connection to a network.

Building automation systems boosts efficiency for IT operations because administrators in charge of the virtual infrastructure can scale processes and optimize resource utilization to benefit their systems better. IoT devices in automated building systems include:

  • Heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system
  • Elevators
  • Lighting
  • Access
