Jim Gross has stepped down as CEO of BCD. We thank Jim for his leadership, dedication, and impact during his time with the company. Under his guidance, BCD made considerable progress in advancing our vision, expanding our capabilities, and delivering consistent value to our customers.
Effective immediately, the Board of Directors has appointed a CEO and new board member, Craig Marton, to assume leadership responsibilities. His background in building customer-centric organizations, driving operational excellence, and cultivating high-performing teams through strong, people-first leadership is pivotal in this moment to lead BCD. This move will ensure continued alignment with our strategic direction and allows us to maintain focus on delivering innovative solutions while preparing for long-term growth. The Board is confident in the CEO’s ability to guide BCD forward during this important transition.
Expanding Our Team to Meet Industry Demand
As we look ahead, we are expanding our team to meet the accelerating demands of our market and our customers. We are adding new roles and bringing in experienced professionals across the company who not only bring technical and commercial expertise but also embody the values that make BCD what it is.
- Sales Leadership: We are proud to welcome James Tracy as our new Regional Sales Manager – Northwest/Western Canada. With over 25 years of experience in public safety, SaaS, and physical security technology, James brings seasoned insight and relationship-building strength to our expanding sales organization.
- Engineering Innovation: Our engineering team continues to push boundaries under the direction of our new Chief Technology Officer, Dan Gewargis. Dan brings over two decades of experience in emergency voice communication, incident response, and security technology—fueling our commitment to technical excellence and forward-thinking solutions.
- Marketing Leadership: We are excited to welcome Pia High as our new Marketing Manager. Pia is a seasoned marketing and event strategy leader with a passion for purpose-driven work. She has experience in field marketing, campaign development, and brand storytelling. Pia brings the kind of bold creativity and collaborative spark that fuels innovation. She is ready to roll out fresh campaigns and drive deeper customer engagement.
