We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to oversee and support our inside sales team.  The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process.  They will collaborate with various professionals, so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment.  They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide leadership to inside sales team
  • Build an “A” team of outbound sales representatives while maintaining our current sales team that manages most inbound calls and specific accounts
  • Set and track sales targets for the team
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
  • Report on sales metrics, KPI’s and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features and products
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
  • Build an open-communication environment for the team
  • Management of onboarding and material maintenance for successful integration into the sales team
  • Hands on training for best practices to assist in making goals
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as an Inside Sales Manager
  • Experience with channel sales and strategy
  • IP Video, VMS and or server and appliance recorders experience
  • Hands on experience with CRM software
  • ERP and CPQ experience would be a plus
  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • NetSuite experience would be a plus
  • Degree or comparable record of sales leadership required
